蔡裕廉先生, Du Thai Die Peacefully at Home on June 18th, 2021. 蔡裕廉先生 Du Thai, beloved husband; cherished brother; devoted father; loving grandfather and proud great-grandfather passed away in his home on June 18, 2021 at the age of 89.
Du’s well-lived life was defined by his love for his family, his kindness and generosity to others and his independent spirit. He was an honest and gentle man with great curiosity and intellect for languages, history, animals & nature. His sharp wit and quiet humor will be sorely missed.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Hanh Xa. He is survived by his brother Vinh Thai, his children Daniel Choy (Wendy), Linh Thai (Ky), Nhi Thai (Tu), Linda Wong (John) and Philip Thai (Kitty), his godchildren Alton Chen and Catherine Bourbeau, his grandchildren Chris Choy (Yuki), Mini Choy (Chris), May Truong, Andrew and Alan Wong and great-grandchildren Sam Choy and Kara Chan. He is also survived by his host of cousins, nieces and nephews.
Resting at the Choi Funeral Home, Inc.. The family will receive friends on June 28th at 4:00pm - 7:00pm and June 29th at 9:00am - 10:00am. Funeral service will be held in 永 豐 殯 儀 館 Choi Funeral Home 247 North 12th Street on June 29th at 10:15am, interment Hillside Cemetery 2556 Susquehanna Road.
