Bora Og went home to be with her Lord and Savior on August 28, 2023 at age 41.  Bora was born to Young Gun Og and Pok Soon Og in Rochester, NY where she was also raised.

Those who know Bora will know she is a compassionate, trustworthy and generous person who frequently gave her time serving others.  Naturally, she pursued a profession in nursing, graduated with a degree in nursing from SUNY Binghamton in 2005, and served many, many patients and their families in Philadelphia, PA for nearly 20 years.

Those who were blessed to know Bora as family or friend will know she was a devoted daughter and a loving aunt to her nephews, Isaac, Noah, and Cole, and her niece, Olivia.  She was constant in her love for them all.  She spent time cooking and baking for them, lavished them with presents, laughed with them and took a deep interest in who they were and everything they did.  She enjoyed decorating cookies with Olivia and watching silly cartoons with her nephews.  She also threw the football with them and had a decent spiral. 

When Bora made friends she made lifelong friends.  She not only stayed connected over time and in spite of long distances, she truly treasured her friends and loved to spend time with them.

Bora’s gentleness, kindness, sense of humor, and her loving nature were all pervasive in what she said and did and how she lived her life.  She was and will continue to be a blessing to everyone who knew her.  Those who love Bora can take comfort that she was a woman of faith who trusted in the God Who wipes away every tear from His people, and Who promises to make all things new again.
