Stephen Kwan-Hung Chung, 鍾關雄先生 beloved husband, father, and grandfather, Passed away Peacefully at Jefferson Hospital for Neuroscience in Philadelphia on December 26th, 2022. He was 65 years old. 鍾關雄先生 Stephen Kwan-Hung Chung was a generous, kind, and loving man, and he will be deeply missed by his wife, Milan; his children, Janie Tsang (Kenneth) and Justin Chung (Lauren); and his grandchildren, Evelyn and Ethan Tsang. He was predeceased by his parents, Pak and Lai Shui Chee Chung. He is also survived by his elder sisters, Eileen, Helena, Kam (Teddy), Maggie and his younger sister, Sukie (Michae.
Born on June 18, 1957, in Hong Kong, Stephen immigrated to the United States as a young man and attended Lincoln High School in Northeast Philadelphia. He went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Temple University, and he had a successful career as an Electrical Engineer for the United States Navy.
Resting at the Choi Funeral Home, Inc.. The family will receive friends on January 3rd at 5:00pm - 8:00pm and January 4th at 8:30am - 10:00am. Funeral service will be held in 永 豐 殯 儀 館 Choi Funeral Home 247 North 12th Street on January 4th at 10:00am, interment West Laurel Hill Crematory 215 Belmont Avenue. A reception will follow at Tai Lake Restaurant 134 N. 10th Street.
In lieu of other gifts, the family requests that flowers be sent to the funeral home to help celebrate Stephen's life. His memory will live on through the generosity and kindness he shared with others..
